2009 Annual Dragon's Lair Limited Gold Edition
Gil Hibben made his first knife back in 1950, for his own use, and for his own enjoyment, for the thrill of making them, and in fact he gave away most of his early creations. It was only when someone paid him to buy one of his hand-crafted knives at his Utah workshop that he began to think of his hobby as a way of earning a living and in the mid 1960s when one of his creations was featured in a magazine, his stock rose and he was on his way to being the well-respected and famous designer and craftsman that he is today.
Gil’s knives have evocative names like Rambo, Dragon, Raptor, Scorpion and WarBird and he is famous for his is famous for his Hibben fantasy knives.
This limited
edition adult collectible is an original Gil Hibben design and strictly limited
to 1,500 pieces.
The double edge
style blade is constructed from solid 440 stainless steel with an impeccable
mirror finish and heavy blood groove down the center.
The guard, pommel,
and blade collar are solid cast metal construction with a 24K gold plated
finish.
The handle grip is
custom genuine leather wrapped for a superb grip.
Included with this
collectible sword is a solid wood wall plaque with brass cloisonné medallion.
Each collectible sword is individually serial-numbered and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
